Once upon a time at Susan's Fine Lingerie in Mississauga, Trepany Falvo, owner of Pert, purchased her very first Charnos bra and panty set. It was just heavenly, all ivory lace, and a mint green floral overlay. Little did Trepany know, this purchase marked the beginning of her love affair with underwear.

A career in retail, which she treasured, but needing something that was her very own, prompted Trepany to consider the possibility of opening a boutique. Finding an available space in Toronto's Beach district, Trepany set about designing her dream bedroom.
